Oh, yes, please!

Most people love snow. There is so much fun to be had in newly fallen snow, and even some animals love it!!

I was hoping for a white Christmas, but we got a soggy one instead. The last white Christmas we had was about 11 years ago. It was fantastic, woke up, and all you could see was white fields and virginal snow. Obviously, the dogs and we made great use of it!!

If you are desperate to see snow, you can always go on a snow vacation, either to ski or just to travel around and explore somewhere that has snow.

Snow is fascinating and it is great to just sit and watch it as it falls.

Snow is a natural sound buffer. When it falls, a layer of fresh snow can act as a buffer to absorb the sound waves and create a much quieter ambience where sounds don’t bounce around.

Chionophobia is the fear of snow. People with this fear have an extreme reaction to snowy weather and can have a huge impact on everyday life. The name is chionophobia because the Greek word for snow is chióni.
Some monkeys love snow. Macaque monkeys, which are native to Japan, are known as snow monkeys and have been observed playing with snowballs that they have made.
Snowflakes can be pretty fast. While some snowflakes can fall at a fairly slow and leisurely rate, other times they may be moving at a speed that is somewhere around 9 miles per hour and, of course, the wind can help to speed up their movement.

Snow can be great fun, but it does have its downsides.
It affects travel, both to and from work.
You can get snowed in. I have been about three times and been lucky as the farmer has got us out.
Farmers lose livestock when the snow is very bad.
It makes driving difficult especially if it freezes.

Well, let's have some snow fun today, snowball fights, go build a snowman, or just go back to our childhood and lay around in it, or get a sledge and go down to anywhere there is a hill and whizz down it. When we were young, we did that on tea trays.
