Pizza Party, Sunday!!
Today is National Pizza Cheese Day, and I think there's no better way to celebrate this day, other than having a pizza party!
Sniff... Sniff.. Mmm... Do you smell that? Hot, fresh baked bread, melted cheese...first steaming pizza pie is ready!! That's a different breakfast, isn't it? 😁
Naples is the place where pizza, as we know it today, was first made, and often the credit is given to Raffaele Esposito. The legend says that he was so famous, that when King Umberto and Queen Marguerita were to Naples, they asked him to make a pizza with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and basil... This pizza is known as pizza Marguerita.
But the beginnings of pizza, although difficult to define, might go back to Ancient Greece, when people would cover their bread with oils, herbs and cheese..
Anyways...
There's no better pizza as the one baked on wood fire. So later we're going to take our party to the garden, so be sure you are prepared to taste all kinds of pizza, from pepperoni, seafood, quattro formaggi 😋 and of course, calzone!!
