What a wonderful...fascinating, mysterious, world!

She is a beauty, our Blue Planet, and we know it. But she's also mysterious, and fascinating, and wonderfully weird. Sometimes she keeps its secrets and leaves us wonder, and sometimes this beautiful, inquiring human mind reveals its secrets. 

All around the world there are tales, theories, myths and of course science that these fascinating, bizarre sites of the world.

The Eternal Flame Falls - New York 

Fire and water together, an unusual combination. 

Blood Dalls- Antarctica 

This is the reason :

"Geologists originally thought the red colour was due to algae but the truth is actually much more interesting. It started around two million years ago when a saltwater pool was trapped inside Taylor Glacier. The sealed, airless lake’s high iron content and salinity caused the rust-red colour that eventually oozed out of a fissure in the ice."

There are also man-made fascinating things. Like Vantablack 

" Vantablack is a nanomaterial that is darker than any other substance on Earth. It was developed in the UK by Surrey NanoSystems in 2015 and is actually a collection of vertical carbon tubes that are "grown" on a substrate.

Vantablack absorbs 99.98% of the light that hits its surface. This means that the human eye technically sees nothing when it looks at Vantablack, making it the closest thing to staring into a black hole."
