Today we're celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day, and I should be glad that for once my awful grammar and accent will work on my favor...*giggles*... 😁 But why does it feel like I need some help?? 😂
This celebration was started in June 1995 (more than twenty years ago!) A innovative Ol’ Chumbucket and Cap’n Slappy (formally known as John Baur and Mark Summers) sat down and decided to start the holiday as a fun way to dress up as pirates and talk like them too!
So make sure you grab yourself an eye patch, bandana and definitely a threatening look! See?! Like this!! 😂
And you'll be Talk like a pirate or walk the plank!
