Mega Bytes & Mega Drives

Wherever we live and whatever we do, we all have one thing in common, the means by which we can be here now, reading this and talking to each other - technology!!
I am of the age where I can remember the pre-computer, pre-internet era of my childhood and much as I love technology, I sometimes hunger for those days when devices and apps didn't keep demanding attention!
But I had a basic games console as an older teenager, and then in the early 90s my first proper computer - weighed a tonne and had a bulky CRT monitor!! Disks were floppy and minute compared to storage that's possible these days!!

I also loved my Mega Drive games console and games cartridges, now sadly long gone and I have a gaming computer and games come via downloads - no more CDs with great artwork on the cover!!

Some of us use desktops, some laptops, perhaps iPads or tablets and others use smartphones to access the Internet, and Disqus.
All have pluses and minuses.
But all have one thing in common - the ability to drive us crackers when they don't work as they should!!

So today, let's share the various ways we all connect, and also share memories of devices long gone and perhaps very much missed for their simplicity, be they phones, games consoles or an earlier computer system.
And let's also share the funnier side of technology, as well as our normal fun and friendly chat!!
