Earth, Water, Air, Fire - The Four Elements
From ancient civilizations to modern day, the colours and symbols of the four elements have represented the different aspects of nature and the forces of energy in our world.
The idea that these four elements – Earth, Water, Air, and Fire – made up all matter was the cornerstone of philosophy, science, and medicine for two thousand years. To the ancient Greeks, the four elements described not only physical manifestations of the material world but essential qualities of human nature as well.
The four elements were even used to described the four temperaments a person could have, and Hippocrates used the four elements to describe the four “humors” found in the body.
While we do know now that these previous theories are false, in a way the four elements do align with the four states of matter that modern science has agreed on: solid (earth), liquid (water), gas (air), and plasma (fire).
So, today, let's look at all these elements from the Dog House perspective, and I mean in a funny way 😁; sharing jokes, memes, gifs and, of course, music.
