Autumn Equinox

Autumn arrived very abruptly here in the UK—more in line with the start of meteorological autumn than this traditional first day of autumn—but yesterday, the last day of traditional summer, was beautiful and then broke with thunderstorms and heavy rain.
Many trees have already started dropping leaves due to our dry spell in August and the start of September, so I am not sure if we will have a very colourful autumn this year, especially if we get windy rather than frosty weather.

But I do enjoy the changing seasons provided by our wonderfully tilted world. I would not like to live somewhere where every day is the same.

Kicking through the fallen leaves is something that appeals to all ages and species!

Let’s celebrate all things autumn today with images, gifs, music or videos.
