ππ π Donβt Forget Your Pets At Christmas ππ π
Well, by now, I expect you have done most of your Christmas Shopping, but have you remembered everybody? You have probably remembered family and friends and are looking forward to maybe seeing some of them over Christmas, but there are other important people in your family. Your Pets!
Pets love Christmas the same as we do, get excited about the preparations and do keep going to look at what is under the tree. So make sure they have something to unwrap Christmas morning. Nothing brightens Christmas more than watching the pets deal with their presents, ripping the paper off the present to see what is inside. Our lounge used to look as if a bomb had hit it after the present opening, but to be honest, that was the best time of the day.
What to buy your pets? The choice is endless, but you don't need to spend a fortune: a couple of toys and some treats and they are happy, as long as they get their Christmas dinner, but be very careful what you give them. Christmas cake and pud is a big no-no, and so is human chocolate. There are plenty of lists on the internet of what to and not to feed your pets over Christmas. And donβt forget Pets include Horses, Fish, Rabbits etc. etc.
There are some pets that aren't as lucky as our own are, and have nobody to spend Christmas Day with and enjoy the fun of it. They are in shelters all over the country, so please when treating your own pet, pop something in a collection box for a local rescue centre so the animals can have some fun on Christmas Day. Some Charities do have a wish list on places like Amazon where you can buy stuff and get it sent direct to the Charity. It makes so much difference to the animals in shelter. But whatever you do, please do not give a pet as a Christmas present to anybody!!
Remember Christmas is for giving and not just receiving.
