We have all heard of Mickey Mouse and his long term partner Minnie, well, today is her birthday and we are going to help her celebrate it. 

 Minnie is quite old now and first appeared with Mickey in 1928 in Steamboat Willie. 
Since then, she has become very popular and is considered a bit of a fashion icon. She started off in black and white, and she was influenced by the flapper look of the 1920s. In 1935, she appeared in a yellow polka dot skirt in a short film called On Ice.

Minnie has grown in popularity over the years and is still one of people's favourite cartoon characters.
