It’s A Friendly Thursday

We all have friends, four-legged or two-legged (and even in my case eight-legged 😂)!!
It’s all too easy to take them for granted when times are good, but a true friend will still be there when things get tough in any way. A friend in need is a friend indeed, and all that!!

And a good friend isn’t necessarily someone who gives you money or gifts or does stuff for you. It can just be someone to sit and listen to you when you just need to get something off your chest.

Animals are more than happy to be friends across the species divide and are about the best listeners you can get!!

Perhaps you are still friends with people you knew in school or at college or in your first few jobs.
Good friends will stick to you like glue through thick and thin!!

But how do you define a friend?
Well, a friend is someone you trust and like enough to hang out with on a regular basis, whether that’s online or in real life. Friends are the people you can count on, the ones that make you laugh and sit with you when you cry.

But, whoever or whatever your best friends are, it’s always good to let them know just how much you appreciate them because we never know what is waiting around the corner for any of us, and in this crazy world we live in now, all good friends must be treasured!!

So, maybe today is a good day to take some time to show those around us just how much we appreciate the little things they do and how much it means just to have them there. Well, any day is a good day for that!!
And for our furry friends, maybe an extra cuddle or treat to tell them they are loved and cherished!!
