🐼 It’s There In Black & White 🦓

Black and white are a very striking combination, very hard to miss, hence the use in pedestrian crossings and the chequered flag of motor racing!!

But they can also be very atmospheric when the grey tones in between are used as well, as in black and white films or photographs. Light looks fantastic in those, even without the colour!

And nature uses the combination of black and white a lot - there are so many black and white animals and birds!!

And while it makes them stand out, it also helps to protect them, as in zebra stripes. When you get a mass of stripey animals charging about in a big herd, the stripes confuse predators, making it harder for them to single out a single animal to attack.

And zebra stripes are as individual to them as fingerprints are to us.

And black and white clothing always looks smart!!
