Happiness Happens
Hello, everyone! Happy Sunday and Happy Happiness Happens Day! 😁
What?! Too much happiness?!... Well, I just want to make sure you get the vibe! Because happiness is contagious! Just like a smile is,if you let it happen.
If we can stop the wheels of our minds and just recognize and acknowledge those little moments that make us smile or giggle through out our days and share our joy with others, then that is when it really can happen! Don't let it pass. And you'll probably be surprised to see that happiness blossom.
Founded in 1999 by The Secret Society of Happy People, and originally called Admit you're Happy Day, Happiness Happens Day encourages to recognize and to think about the happy moments of our lives.
The organization was founded in 1998 and it was created to celebrate happiness. They have two mottos, Don't Even Think of Raining on My Parade, and the other one is Happiness Happens. Well... I like that!! 😁 They are the two faces of the same coin.
Because we have to admit that any now and then we can find other people's happiness irritating. And there can be many reasons for that.. But no matter in our lives, be it a bad day or that their happiness reminds us of moments of our lives, truth is that we don't have the right to dismiss or diminish their happiness. Actually I think this is a matter of choice. We can either choose to let their joy "infect" us and help us smile again and blow the clouds of a bad day, or, the other choice would be to remember what we were told : if you don't have something nice to say, better don't say anything.
But today let's just let happiness happen. Let's share happiness, or seek ways to infuse it in our lives and others. I honestly believe that the last one is the best way to celebrate this day. 😁
Oh... And if you don't have a happy day... *giggles*... Don't worry, this organization thought everyone can get a chance, so the month of August is the month of Happiness happens!! 😁 So... Yup, no escape!!
