🎅🌟🔔Christmas Is On Its Way🎅🌟🔔

This year has flown, and Christmas is on its way again with all the decorations, trees, presents and good food.

To achieve all this, we tend to get into a mad panic a few weeks before and think I will never get it all done!! It usually turns out fine in the end.

Everybody seems to change in the run-up to Christmas, and you either enjoy the shopping and seeing all the Christmas stuff around, or you hate the thought of it. Sadly, in the UK, the shops don’t put many decorations up outside the shops like they used to. But then a lot of the Christmas traditions have gone.
We used to get Carol Singers out in the shopping areas, singing for charity or even coming around your house, but this has been banned. The only real way you can hear Carols now is by going to Midnight Mass.

I also find it strange that kids today tell their parents what they want and make it as expensive as possible. I used to write a letter to Santa asking for what I wanted, but it was never expensive, and I was grateful for whatever I got, and my stocking, which had an orange, an apple, a few nuts and a small present in it. Give that to a child today and see the reaction.
The spirit and real fun of Christmas have really sadly gone. But it is what you make it, and I, for one, love Christmas and do have a lovely time without spending a fortune.
