🐈Favourite Cartoon Characters🐁

As kids, we all loved cartoons. They were on the television and at the cinema. Nobody thought them violent, they were just good fun. I mean sometimes you had to be on Tom's side and not Jerry's the way he treated Tom!

There were so many good ones, Popeye, Winnie the Pooh, Snoopy, and Garfield the cat, to name a few, and they are all still as popular today with kids and adults alike.

The real start of it all was Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, and each movement of theirs was individually drawn and processed. The work that went into one of their films was remarkable.
Today, it is all computer-generated, and whilst the image is far superior, the cartoons themselves are certainly not so good. There are cartoon films, tv channels dedicated to cartoons, and even computer games based on them.

Sadly, a lot of the older cartoons have now been branded as unsuitable for Children, the classic being Popeye whose film got an over 18 certificate simply because he smoked a pipe!! I have to say seeing Popeye as a child did not encourage me to smoke!!
