⛱️🍉🌞Goodbye May, Hello June⛱️🍉🌞
Today, we say Goodbye to May and Hello to June.
To be honest, the way the weather is, I’m not sorry to leave May behind.
June is, in theory, a lovely month. The garden is in full swing, and the flowers are blooming everywhere. The birds are happy and have young, and they will insist on bringing them to the garden to show them where the food is!
Today is the Meteorological first day of Summer as well, but traditionally, that falls on the longest day of the year, later this month. Then the nights start drawing in, slowly, fortunately.
Some people go on holiday this month to avoid the school kids being on holiday for 6 weeks!! It is also fractionally cheaper than when the school holidays start.

My favourite season has just finished, but let's see if Flaming June lives up to its name.
