🥪Let’s Eat Some Sandwiches🥪

There aren't many people that don't eat sandwiches and enjoy them. There is something about a good sandwich, with plenty of filling and a dressing placed between 2 slices of nice bread, and I don't mean your bog standard sliced loaf.

Sandwiches come in many different forms, ie baguettes, a nice crusty roll, bagels, to name a few, and even toasted! You can have hot or cold fillings, and nothing beats a good chip butty in a nice roll, plenty of butter on the bread, and the sauce of your choice, this is closely followed by a hot bacon sandwich with brown sauce or ketchup!

The fillings are only limited by your imagination. There is the run-of-the-mill cheese and tomato, ham and tomato etc, ham salad to name a few, and all of these can be very enjoyable, or you can try something a bit different, cream cheese banana and honey, or put some marmite under your cheese and tomato one. Or even a fish finger or crisps sandwich!! The choice is really endless!!

Here are a few examples of what you can put in your sandwich:

Jam and peanut butter.

Ham with cheese, tomato, lettuce, avocado, and pickle  (no, not all at once).

Cold sausage with pickle, tomato or with cheese.

Bacon with tom. BLT or all incorporated in a disgusting all-day-breakfast one with cold egg, cold sausage, and with cheese.

Any leftover cooked meat from a Sunday roast with whatever you want.

Eggs, boiled, with mayo, with cress and with salad.

Just guard your sandwich well, well animals are around ! Mentioning no names of course

The brief history of the sandwich is attributed to John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich. Sandwich is a city in the shire of Kent in England where John Montagu lived. But some say the word sandwich goes back a long long way.
