Yes, today is National Sock Day, a day when we celebrate all of those wonderful little pairs of foot warmers!!

I am sure many of us will be getting some under the Christmas tree very soon, and what would Santa do if there were no stockings to put all those little presents in?!

Socks are a great way to express our personality!!
There are many different styles and colours of socks: plain or jazzy!!

And who knows what may be hiding beneath a rather staid exterior!!

I have both plain and jazzy socks and I have recently discovered toe socks - great if you have foot issues, as they allow toes to move independently as you walk rather than cramming them together.

And I am definitely a fan of keeping an odd sock and marrying it up with one that also just got divorced - whether that occurred in the parallel universe of the washing machine or just plain darned worn out!!
