Well, thank goodness November is over. I personally hate that month, I think it is the worst of the year: cold, wet, foggy, dark nights and nothing going for it, so I am more than happy to say:

Well, December is usually a busy month, as Christmas is fast approaching and lots of preparations to do. Presents to buy, and post if applicable, cards to write and send, Christmas decs. to put up and food shopping to think about.

Apart from that, December has a happy feel to it, and there seems to be a bubble of excitement to it. The shops begin to look very pretty and start to get busy, which is a downside, but pick your times carefully and no worries about crowds. Some of ours are open 24 hours.

The best bit about December is we may see some snow. Nothing can beat a white Christmas, although they are few and far between.

It is also the end of the year, and one I won't feel sorry to leave behind. It also brings on January and then you see the nights drawing out again and know Spring is on it's way.
