Let’s talk about films!

I have always loved watching films and have seen many great ones from many countries over the years.
I usually watch dramas and thrillers, occasionally a sci-fi or an animated one too. Good witty comedies are harder to find and I don't enjoy horror movies at all.

My favourite film director is Giuseppe Tornatore. I love all of his movies, I watched most of them a few times and will do it again with utmost pleasure. 😁

A beautiful story, with a magnificent performance from Tim Roth and most of the music composed by Ennio Morricone.

And for me it's a must to see any new creations from Steven Spielberg, Luc Besson, Quentin Tarantino, Ang Lee, Pedro Almodóvar, Tim Barton, Kenneth Branagh, or the Coen brothers, because of their originality, although I don't always enjoy the topics of their films, being some of them too sad, too violent, or too crazy. 🥺😅🤣

As for the actors/actresses, there have been so many fantastic professionals but, for me, the absolute champion at this moment is Meryl Streep. So many magnificent roles, all in excellent films, and, to my surprise, I loved her transformation, her singing and dancing in the Mamma Mia! musical romantic comedy too!!

Such a fun movie, especially for someone like me who was a fan of ABBA as a young teen.

I highly appreciate Cate Blanchett, Emma Thompson, Anthony Hopkins, Denzel Washington, Colin Firth, and Tom Hanks as well.
