The genre of science fiction (also known as Sci-Fi or SF) covers many themes: space travel, time travel, futuristic other worlds, parallel universes, aliens, robots, androids, and many other things.

Science fiction has actually predicted several inventions such as robots, the atomic bomb, and the crystal Borazon, which is harder than a diamond, and those inventions, when they became reality, were given the name that the original Sci-Fi authors had given them.
