Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year, frequently called The Chinese New Year.

2024 is the Year of the Wood Dragon.
It begins on February 10th, 2024 (Chinese New Year) and ends on January 28th, 2025 (Chinese New Year's Eve).

The dragon is the fifth animal in the Chinese zodiac and the Chinese emperors liked to think of themselves as dragons.
In Chinese culture, the Dragon symbolizes power, nobility, honour, luck, and success.
