Around the World's Museums Sunday!

Hello, Dog House! 😁 You up and shining?? Good! Now get ready for a trip to the museum.

Many might find the museum experience boring, but I think there's no better place that shows the fascination of humankind for beauty, culture history, nature, or pretty much everything that holds significance. Be it museums, art galleries, aquariums, planetarium, every each of them exhibit, safeguard, celebrate and offer the opportunity to explore.

There are those famous museums that I think many of us would like to visit. Or already did.

The Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, founded by Catherine the Great in 1764, exhibiting priceless works by Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, just to mention a few.

Then... Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao. The building itself is spectacular, evoking the ships that used to be ever-present along the docks of Bilbao and it's covered in titatium squares that resembles the fish scales. The museum is home of modern art works of Spanish and international artists.

England's Natural History Museum with its Darwin Center cocoon, exhibiting many of specimens collected by him.

Vatican's Museums, 54 galleries with the SusΘ›ine Chappell being the last sala, home of one of the biggest collection of Renaissance arts, spanning from the 14th century till the 16th.

Well... That's all good, but what about some that's off the beaten path, interesting, unique, weird 😁 museums?

You like diving? And art? Then The Cancun Underwater Museum it's the right place for you. Or me😁

500 sculptures, most of which are by the British sculptor Jason deCaines Taylor and the rest by Mexican sculptors, are a destination for the divers and it was the founders vision to help preserving the nearby coral reefs.

Micropia, in Amsterdam, is the only museum about the microbes. Well...given the times we're in, I thought I should mention it. Quite ironic, but the museum aims to provide a positive perspective on the microbes and their essential role in our daily lives.

Tired, thirsty and hungry already? 😁

It's OK! Many of these museums are known for their incredible restaurants and Cafe!!

So... Let's have coffee, tea, whatever you'd like and have a chat about all this, or anything else. Keep it fun and friendly, okay? 😁

As always, smile a lot, be gentle with yourself and others!
