Father’s Day

Today is Father’s Day, a chance to thank and appreciate all father figures, not just our biological fathers or stepdads, who may have raised us or given us some good fatherly advice along the way.
In today’s society, it is important for children to have good male role models around them, and we don’t always appreciate something properly until it is no longer there.

So, today, spare a thought for the good men who have been a part of your life from childhood and make the most of those you still have around.
Whether that’s through a present and card, a meal and a drink at home or out somewhere, or just a phone call to say hello and thank you!
And for those among us who are fathers, I hope you all have a lovely day.
